An Open Letter to Sri Arvind Kejriwal

At the outset let me congratulate Sri Arvind Kejriwal , the H’ble CM of  Delhi, his ministers and MLAs of Delhi Assembly for their victory in the battle for justice against the vagaries and corrupt practices prevalent today amongst the  law enforcement agencies of Delhi functioning under the Home Ministry. As you are aware these problems can be effectively addressed to the desired level of satisfaction only if the Delhi Police is brought under the functional and administrative control of Delhi administration. I am sure with your kind indulgence and perseverance; we will see it happen shortly.

I intend to bring to the kind notice of Sri Arvind Kejriwal that by letting the door open for anyone to walk in and join the Aam Aadmi Party as an ordinary member, we are taking a huge risk of other Party agents grabbing power at sensitive posts in AAP hierarchy by positioning their men under the guise of AAP activists to achieve their base motives and mischievous intentions. This is exactly what is happening in Kerala. The Adhoc State Committee members are from the leftist VS Achuthananthan group and they are busy planting people at the various District levels and other areas to promote their private vested interests. In the guise of AAP they are only furthering the interests of the Leftist group while outwardly preaching AAP ideology. The only perceivable solution, to my mind, is to bring about utmost transparency in the system of selection by making public the character, antecedents and allegiance to any other political party  of all those holding any post of office bearer(temporary or otherwise) at all levels in the AAP. A large number of such people are aiming to become "Netas" through shortcut method due to their greed for power, position and wealth and not with the pure intent to serve the country and its people. To facilitate transparency the Voters ID details of every such individual needs to be made public so that necessary verification of such individuals can be carried out at ward levels and also in the neighbourhood of such individuals. In Kerala we have many Vinod Kumar Biinnys posing as your admirers/AAP workers. As you are aware the “Devil cites scriptures for his own purpose”.  I strongly feel that you should kindly revisit the current policy on the subject, ponder upon it and consider selection of office bearers and others based on the merit of their work output, loyally, integrity, dedication to the Party and their dependability as judged by the ward level members. It may be followed up by vetting processes at Party High Command at the Centre.
